         1. Lessons Learned from Managin a Petabyte. Data storage and annalysis around the SLAC/BaBar, a large Terabytes/day high energy physics (HEP) exparament/lab/database.

   2. Sustanable stuff
      1. Solar Spaces a totaly passive heating system, I wish everything was this briliant and simple.
      2. Biodiesel A solution for the worlds dependancy on oil. Current Solar PV and Biodiesel may have around the same solar efficency. And planting rapeseed is much less capital intensive than planting Solar cells.

   1. Bootchart How to tell what is slow durring a linux boxes boot time, excilent information density.

3. Unsorted Misc
   1. ferro fluid sculptures I wonder if casts could be made of them... , then cast something in the cavity... maybe bronse.
